Scope of this Position

• POSITION WILL OVERSEE A COMBINATION OF:
• Outside Catering Sales Efforts
• Catering Functions (which will include meeting space and 1-9 sleeping rooms).
• On-Property Weddings and Receptions
• Group Sales BEO Detailing and Planning
• In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Catering or Banquets or Sales
• Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience.
• This position reports to: Director of Catering and Conference Services
• Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Job Requirements

• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• Knowledge of Delphi required.

Technical Requirements:

• Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits in all catering areas.
• Develop and implement effective marketing plans for generating catering revenues.
• Experience evaluating each piece of catering business to ensure business can be properly serviced.
• Carefully review all contracted services to assure proper contribution to profits.
• Understand role market fluctuations have on up-selling opportunities.
• Re-book business before they leave.
• Experience providing A /V equipment and operating A/V as a profit center.
• Maintain close client relationships with in-house groups.
• Actively participate in community/civic activities to maintain awareness within community and to create booking opportunities.
• Excellent creative skills to provide innovative set-ups, menus, and functions for groups.
• Work closely with Chef on pricing specialty menus.
• Applicants must be within a 25 mile radius.

Compensation

Salary	DOE $35K-$40K
Bonus	to 20% of salary, payable quarterly
